This course is nestled between old-23 and M-59. It has 27 holes of championship golf. Having played this course numerous times, I still find it exciting when I return. This course is always so much fun to play! It is loaded with challenging but fair holes. With three distinctive 9 holes that are all fantastic, you may find yourself haggling with the pro shop for the opportunity to end your round at the 9th hole so you can take the ferry back at the end of your round. Yes, I kid you not—you leave your cart and you (and your bag) will be ferried across Lake Walden. It is a perfect way to unwind and discuss how much fun you had within the last few hours.
I have played in a couple of scrambles at the Majestic. The banquet area was nice and comfortably accommodated our outing. One of my (dirty) old (man) golfing buddies used to study the scorecard before we teed off. I usually forgot what he was doing because I just assumed he was going to talk me into playing from the tips. No, no he was doing his annual scanning of the staff. The course has put their staff on the front of the card for years and he always liked to find the most attractive 18 to 24 year old female from the scorecard.
For all the right reasons, the staff is something to brag about. From the moment you drive up to the bag drop, you are treated like royalty. Everyone there works very hard to make sure you enjoy your experience. You can’t really put a price on that because it truly is what sets this apart from some other courses in the area. I need to take VW there. He loves when people fawn all over him. I think the only time I was let down was when I didn’t get to play the proper sequence to ferry back to the clubhouse.
